ShinhanCard established Shinhan Microfinance in March 2016 with the headquarters in Yangon, Myanmar. The company attained a MFI license to conduct small loans business in July 2016 and began operating in September.

With a foothold in Yangon, the country’s economic capital, Shinhan Microfinance is expanding its network throughout Myanmar.

The company will continue to expand its market share in MFI and continue to help those who are in needs, promoting compassionate finance.
